Kia Kaha Christchurch!

Christchurch may be down, but it’s definitely not out. Here at TML Publishing, we’re right behind the cause of re-establishing the Garden City’s reputation as a beautiful place to visit and a wonderful place to live! Like other locals, we reckon an important part of the healing process is reconnecting with friends and family over a good coffee or dinner out in a buzzing restaurant. It’s the little rituals that get us through in times like this. And at the same time, we’re supporting our friends and neighbours who own and work in the city’s restaurants and shops.

If you know of cafés and restaurants that have relocated due to the earthquake, do let us know. As we get word of your favourite eateries operating or relocating we’ll pass it on – as well as updating you on earthquake-related information and services. Check out our earthquake updates and be safe!

Welcome to Indulge Christchurch!

I hope you realise just how lucky you are to be in this wonderful little city of ours. If I could give Christchurch a big old bear hug, I sure would. Whether you’re a local or fortunate enough to be paying a visit, it’s my mission to give you the inside word on what makes this stunner of a city such a fantastic place to live, work and play. Get out there and discover all of its hidden gems – not so hidden now you’ve got me on side! Grrr!

It’s easy to get complacent about what’s on your doorstep, but the shopping in Christchurch is truly world class! I just love hitting the high streets and lanes in search of the latest must-have and when it comes time for a bit of R & R after a hard day’s shopping, Mother Bear and I like nothing better than indulging in a beauty treatment or a fresh new look from an award-winning hair stylist. And if we simply have to get away from it all, a mini break at one of Canterbury’s boutique bed and breakfast establishments or luxury homestays is just the thing!

I’ve tracked down the best stuff on offer, the hippest clubs and hangouts, and the places serving the tastiest fare before putting this guide together just for you! All you have to do is keep it handy at all times! So go forth and exercise allpawprint of your senses with a fresh look at your very own, very indulgent, little city.

Special thanks to our advertisers and you, our lovely readers.
